Hublot reinterprets three of its iconic timepieces to celebrate Harrods’ partnership during the revered London department store’s “Re-Editions” Campaign.

Harrods London, 3rd of July, 2017 - Hublot is renowned for creating special edition pieces in partnership with the most celebrated names in the world of sport, fashion and music.
To mark the second phase of the Harrods ‘Made with Love and Precision’ timepieces takeover, Hublot has created three new takes on the Classic Fusion collection which will be exclusively available at Harrods from 30th of June as part of the luxury retailer’s dedication to redefining the world of fine timepieces.

The three Classic Fusion re-edition models are exemplary to the Hublot vision to create timepieces that mix tradition and innovation – hence ‘fusion’ – and in keeping with this philosophy, classical watchmaking is combined with cutting-edge design.

Each in the contemporary Racing Grey tones, the three models offer a sleek and contemporary choice, showcasing the true essence of Hublot. These three re-edition models pay homage to the Classic Fusion Blue collaboration launched last year to much fanfare and success. The exclusive mixture of the dial indexes and numerals has been crafted with the Harrods customer in mind, mixing contemporary British style with an international flair.

The angular finish and round bezel of the three options available in 38mm and two further 45mm interpretations are all crafted from polished and satin-finished titanium, as are each of the timepieces distinctive six visible H-shaped screws.

For the understated approach the Classic Fusion 45mm (£7,600) limited to 40 pieces offers a minimalist dialinagreysunrayfinish. Fortheavidwatchenthusiasts,thereisthe45mmClassicFusionChronograph (£10,200), limited to 20 pieces. The final piece within the re-edition collection is the smaller yet striking Classic Fusion 38mm with full diamond set bezel (£10,200). Each of the three timepieces are offset with a black rubber and grey alligator strap with grey stitching, and every numbered piece is finished on the case under-side with the engraved mark of ‘Special Edition + Harrods’.

The Classic Fusion is Hublot’s most elegant collection and directly inspired by avant-garde designs first launched by the company in the early 1980s, shortly after it was founded. Hublot pioneered the use of gold with rubber, daringly fusing precious and industrial materials together in a package that disrupted the watchmaking conventions of the time.
