Hublot celebrates the 5th anniversary of its Munich boutique with a “Big Bang”

It is with great pride that I celebrate here in Munich the 5th anniversary of the Hublot Boutique. We toast together to the past five years full of successes and look forward to many more years of creating memories and stories. This will be a night to remember. Hublot Loves Germany, Hublot Loves Munich!
Ricardo Guadalupe, Hublot CEO

The Swiss luxury watch brand Hublot celebrates the 5th anniversary of the Hublot Boutique in Munich. In 2013, the boutique opened its doors in Munich on the famous Maximilianstraße and has experienced some unforgettable moments since then, like the homage made to the most famous folk festival in the world, the Oktoberfest, with the launch of the Big Bang Bavaria.

To celebrate this “birthday,” Ricardo Guadalupe, CEO of Hublot, invited 150 guests for an unforgettable night in Munich in order to celebrate. The festivities began in the boutique on Maximilianstraße, where the first highlight of the evening took place. Ricardo Guadalupe started by greeting the guests, after which Wyclef Jean, internationally renowned musician, gave an a surprise cappella performance and sang "Happy Birthday" to guests.

With its world firsts and patented innovations, Hublot is constantly making its distinctive mark on watchmaking: "Be the first, be unique, be different". This philosophy underpins the brand's ongoing development of its Art of Fusion, a concept born in 1980 with the first in-house case combining natural rubber and gold in the inspired shape of a boat's porthole. The founding concept was a fusion of traditional watchmaking skills, innovative, cutting-edge technologies and the most unusual of materials. This fusion would also see the brand forging associations with personalities, expertise and talent to create the unexpected.

This 5th anniversary celebratory evening wasn’t finished at the Boutique, however. The Swiss luxury manufacturer known for making the impossible possible proved it once again when Ricardo Guadalupe, Hublot’s CEO, announced another surprise, a private "living room concert" by Wyclef Jean, exclusively for the brand’s guests, at the nearby Bayerischer Hotel.

Songs like Ready or Not, Gone till November, No Woman, No Cry, Hips Don’t Lie, Carnival and Killing Me Softly, some of Wyclef Jean's biggest hits, encouraged the audience to sing along, dance and party.

5 years of the Hublot Munich Boutique, 5 years of unforgettable moments and a birthday party that will be remembered for a long time to come.

Happy Birthday Hublot Boutique Munich!
