Hublot Hosts an Auction in Dallas to Support Eduardo Serio’s Black Jaguar-White Tiger Foundation

Auction items include Hublot timepieces and sideline passes to a Dallas Cowboys game.

Hublot hosted a charity dinner and auction to raise money for the Black Jaguar-White Tiger Foundation (BJWT) at the Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek in Dallas, Texas.

The Black Jaguar-White Tiger Foundation is a non-profit operated in the United States and Mexico, started by Hublot Ambassador, Eduardo Serio, who runs the charity with the help of devoted friends around the world. Eduardo and his team have rescued and currently care for over 240 big felines, including jaguars, tigers, leopards, lynxes, lions, and pumas from a life of abuse in circuses, at zoos and from breeders. In addition to their rescue efforts, the organization works to raise awareness and encourage policy reform to protect our planet and the animals that inhabit it.

For this auction, Hublot created a unique Big Bang piece in three different metals, with a photorealistic image of a big cat! All three pieces were exclusively unveiled during the Dallas charity dinner. The King Gold Piece was auctioned both in-person and online, the steel model auctioned online only, and the ceramic piece was raffled online. In addition to four Hublot suite tickets for a Dallas Cowboys (also an Hublot brand partner) game with pre-game sideline passes, and two roundtrip tickets and hotel accommodation to Mexico to visit the BJWT Sanctuary. The evening’s media partner, Haute Living, auctioned off an art piece by Romero Britto, a Hublot brand ambassador. Bidding for the auction took place online and on Eduardo Serio’s social media channels where a raffle winner was selected via Instagram Live.

Jean-François Sberro, Managing Director of Hublot North America, shared: “The Black Jaguar-White Tiger Foundation continues to inspire us, and we are proud to help them continue promoting their valuable mission to create a better world. There is no living being who does not deserve love and respect, and with our limited edition timepieces, you can wear that sentiment on your wrist.”

Over one year ago, Hublot announced a limited-edition collection inspired by the Black Jaguar-White Tiger Foundation; three versions in King Gold, Titanium, and Ceramic. These models are available in Hublot boutiques and carry the likeness of the organization’s felines; the dial of the timepieces reflect the strength and nature of animals with an embossed tiger, and black rubber straps with the characteristic pattern of tiger fur.

Hublot has always been committed to giving back for social causes and worldwide foundations. Other charity partnerships include the Wayne Rooney Foundation, Monaco Charity Association, Womanity, and charity : water with Depeche Mode. With Hublot’s help to-date, BJWT has opened more than 50 habitats, allowing them to take care of an additional 350 animals of various species
