28 Outubro 2022 BIG BANG UNICO BERLUTI WHITE GREY In this latest collaboration, the fusion of Hublot’s watchmaking savoir faire with Berluti’s iconic patina results in the creation of a supreme timepiece. A highly anticipated collaboraion inspired by the Art of Fusion. The infinite possibilities of white breathe new life into the Big Bang Unico Berluti White Grey Titanium. The Big Bang Unico, Hublot's icon, is now available in a completely new shade of Berluti's iconic white grey scritto Venezia leather, a noble yet bold design imagined by the most exclusive of maisons. The emblematic patinated scritto Venezia leather is at the heart of the polished titanium bezel as well as on the dial, where the indices are gauffered directly on the surface. The leather is held between two pieces of sapphire glass, whose cut reveals the gears of the Unico movement, a feat of technical prowess. Working with Berluti, a technique was developed to encapsulate natural leather hues and crystallize them in time; in this way, their beauty is rendered in an authentic and unchanging manner. As for the strap, it symbolizes the perfect fusion of the two worlds in patinated white grey Venezia leather with the scritto motif, exclusively for Japan. The Big Bang Unico Berluti White Grey Titanium, combines Hublot’s and Berluti's unparalleled technology and savoir faire. The watch is presented in a special case that includes a travel pouch with the Berluti emblem and a shoehorn key ring. The king gold edition will be limited to 30 pieces, while the titanium edition will be limited to 100 pieces. Both models are precious Japan-exclusive limited editions. The Venezia leather for this model undergoes the same process as the leather used for Berluti shoes: patterning, cutting, assembly of the leather pieces, mounting on the watch, and glossy finishing. This is a complex and meticulous process, including the neutralization of the leather's natural components. The partnership between Hublot and Berluti is supported by the iconic codes of the Big Bang, the Unico movement and the exceptional craftsmanship of the dials and straps. The White grey patina has been created exclusively by Berluti for Hublot for this Japan special edition. This unique patina requires exceptional savoir-faire that involves applying a very subtle veil of patina on light leather. Berluti never ceases to surpass itself in the creation of new colours and new patina techniques. The Big Bang Unico Berluti White Grey also reveals part of its beating heart. The gears of the Unico movement, an authentic manufacture self-winding Flyback chronograph with three full days of power reserve, can be admired thanks to the cut of the two pieces of sapphire glass that hold the leather on the dial-side.
